Every Tottenham Hotspur fan knows how incredible Heung-min Son is, but Fraser Forster insists his Spurs skipper still doesn’t get the credit he deserves and suggests the South Korean star actually has no weaknesses.
It has been a brilliant season for Son on a personal level, with the 31-year-old taking over the captaincy at Tottenham and proving to be a fantastic leader on and off the pitch.
Son has also delivered the goods in front of goal, too, with 15 goals and nine assists this term so far (Transfermarkt).
In an Ange Postecoglou side that has exceeded expectations, Son has been a shining light and has proven yet again just how valuable he is to the club, especially in the wake of Harry Kane’s high-profile exit last summer.
Heung-min Son should get more credit
But, when it comes to the wider footballing world, Fraser Forster believes Son is still underappreciated and shows in training every single day that he is a world-class talent.
In a recent appearance on Ben Foster’s Fozcast show, Forster said: “He’s an amazing player. I’d actually say he’s underrated. It’s different though, you would have seen it with players as well, you know when you train day in, day out with them and you see them in training and see what they do.

You cannot put a price on that, and I hope he stays at Spurs until he decides to retire. People worried about us when Kane left, but they needn’t have feared, because we all knew Son would step up.
