
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this evening’s match against Brighton.
One shred of consolation for Spurs fans is that Son Heung-min has scored in each of his last three Premier League appearances without Harry Kane in the team.
Spurs haven’t lost any of their last 12 Premier League games against sides starting the day in the bottom four (W6, D6).
Brighton have taken four points from their last two Premier League games (W1 D1), as many as from their previous eight in the competition (W0 D4 L4). The Seagulls are looking to keep three consecutive Premier League clean sheets for the first time since October 2018.
Jose Mourinho has dropped Eric Dier to the bench following his performance against Liverpool on Thursday while Serge Aurier completely misses out.
Moussa Sissoko looks set to operate at right wing-back while Gareth Bale gets a rare start.
