Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to share their reaction after the club were pitted against London rivals Chelsea in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup.
Former Tottenham players Jamie Redknapp and Michael Dawson were both put in charge of pulling the final four names out of the hat.
Antonio Conte’s side booked their place in the final four of the competition after beating West Ham United 2-1 earlier this evening.
Steven Bergwijn, who was making his first start since Antonio Conte took charge caught the eye with the Dutchman opening the scoring and also providing the assist for Lucas Moura’s winner following an impressive driving run into the penalty area.
Chelsea beat Brentford 2-0 at the Brentford Community Stadium also this evening to secure their place in the next round.
The other tie will see Liverpool face Arsenal.
Here is a selection of reaction from the North London faithful on Spurs’ next opponents:
There was no easy draw so let’s shut up and get on with it.
