Report: French international expected to agree to 8 million per year deal in January

Yet another twist in the Adrien Rabiot transfer saga, and reports are now saying Spurs may have a chance of signing the young man after all.

There has been speculation around the future of the French international for some time now, as soon as it became apparent he would not be signing a new deal at PSG.

Despite word that Rabiot may not be keen on coming to Spurs, Paris United have now reported that Tottenham are ‘ready to sign’ the Paris Saint-Germain man.

This is said to be a deal for the January transfer window, rather than chancing it and getting him on a free in the summer, when there would surely be greater competition.

The midfield man is expected to agree a three-year contract in North London, worth something in the region of 8 million Euros per year.

What this be a good signing for Spurs, particularly with Mousa Dembele likely to be on his way?
