‘Friday can’t come quick enough’ – Kane, Toby and co look forward to United clash

The long wait for Tottenham Hotspur to return to Premier League action is almost over, as the Lilywhites go up against Manchester United tomorrow in what will surely be a crucial game for both sides’ top-four hopes.

The extended break arguably came at the right time for Jose Mourinho’s men, who were left reeling after failing to win any of their previous six games before the suspension.

The three-month break has also afforded the likes of Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, and Steven Bergwijn the time they needed to get back to full fitness.

Kane and Sissoko were among the Spurs stars who took to social media this week to reveal their excitement ahead of the club’s return to Premier League action.

Toby Alderweireld and Paulo Gazzaniga also admitted that they were raring to go for the game on Friday.

Here’s how some of the Spurs stars reacted ahead of the United match:

The players have had a bigger break than they generally do during their offseason. So, it is only natural that they would be itching to get back on to the pitch. Hopefully, we pick up a good result against United, which serves as the foundation for a solid run of results until the end of the season.
