Premier League attacker, Pedro Neto has been waxing lyrical about the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during an interview with the official Wolves website this week.
The Portuguese winger was asked about his favourite Premier League away ground, to which he replied that the new stadium in North London was ‘amazing’.
Neto claimed that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was like something from the future, different from anything he has seen at other ground around Europe.
He said: “The stadium was amazing, like in American Football. It was brand new and I’d never seen a stadium like it. It’s different, almost from the future.”
However, while Spurs have been shining away from the pitch in terms of their facilities, the football last season certainly didn’t back that up, with a seventh-place finish in the Premier League and no trophies.
Neto’s former Wolves manager, Nuno Espirito Santo is apparently now the leading contender to take over at Tottenham this summer (Daily Mail).
Spurs Web Opinion:
I’m sure that many Spurs fans would be overjoyed if Neto played 19 or so matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season. He looks to be a really exciting prospect.
