Harry Kane has taken to Twitter to share his reaction after Tottenham Hotspur suffered another blow in their hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League.
Antonio Conte’s side failed to reclaim fourth place, knowing they had to beat Brentford after Arsenal had earlier taken all three points against Manchester United earlier in the day.
Spurs struggled to create any opportunities of note with their best chance falling to Kane who attempted an acrobatic bicycle kick from a Dejan Kulusevski cross but saw his effort go wide of the post.
The north Londoners can also thank their marksman for his defensive positioning when he cleared off the line from Pontus Jansson’s header in the 66th minute.
Kane admitted it was another frustrating game on the back of last weekend’s defeat at home to Brighton and issued a rallying cry to finish the last five matches as strong as possible.
Frustrating one. No easy games at this stage of the season but we’ve just got to keep pushing for the final 5 games. Great to see @ChrisEriksen8 out there. pic.twitter.com/5Soc55ed4R

Kane and the rest of the players need to step up to the mark, rather than what could be a miserable end to the season if Arsenal finish in fourth. Missing out on Champions League football to our biggest rivals could be a sliding doors moment in terms of the future success of both clubs.
