Fulham worried Spurs may make late move for their young star

Journalist Dean Jones believes there is concern surrounding the Fulham camp that a late move from Spurs could come in for Ryan Sessengon.

Spurs have been linked with the 18-year-old before but following Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League, it was believed he was happy to stay at his boyhood club.

Although he stated it to be an ‘unlikely’ scenario for the youngster to move, nothing is impossible in this transfer window and should Spurs still not have signed anyone it could lead Daniel Levy offering late deals for previous targets.

The youngster rose in value last season as he guided the Cottagers to the Premier League with a total of 16 goals and eight assists in his 49 appearances in the 2017/18 campaign.

Sessegnon lifted the play-off final trophy along with numerous personal accolades including the Championship Player of the Year.

Spurs were dealt a hefty blow from Aston Villa today who stated Jack Grealish would not be sold this window.

Therefore, with a matter of hours to go, could Daniel Levy make an extremely late move for the Fulham youngster?
