Future Spurs star Luka Vuskovic is thriving out on loan with another goal this week

Luka Vuskovic continues to impress during his spell in the Polish league, with the Croatian defender registering another goal in the recent win over Legia Warsaw, and is showing why he could be ideal for Ange Postecoglou’s system.

Spurs swooped early to snap up the teenager last summer from Hajduk Split, but due to Vuskovic still only being 16 at the time, the Lilywhites are being made to wait for his arrival in England.

Vuskovic cannot join up with the Premier League side until next summer, when he will be 18 years old and eligible to play.

For now, the Croatian has joined Polish side Radomiak Radom on loan until the end of the season, to gain more first-team experience. It seems that was a good idea, as the youngster is absolutely flourishing there as we approach the end of the season.

Luka Vuskovic scores again in Poland

The latest update on his progress comes from Football.London, who reported on Vuskovic’s most recent goal and how he is displaying all the signs that he can be a great asset to Ange Postecoglou‘s side one day.

The report explains how “the goals continue to flow” for Vuskovic, in this “huge victory” for his temporary team. And, that goal suggests he could be “the perfect defender” for Postecoglou in years to come.

The teenager’s composure and comfortability with the ball at his feet are cited as key assets, and he displayed this not only in defensive areas but as he marched forward with the ball before sending a shot that “arrowed into the bottom corner” against Warsaw, albeit via a slight deflection.

As per FotMob, Vuskovic’s latest performance saw him complete one successful shot, one successful dribble, seven out of eight long passes, and achieving an 86% pass completion rate overall. He also made one defensive block, one clearance, three recoveries, and also won five out of nine duels in the game.

I can’t wait for Vuskovic to make it over to England next year. He could have a huge future with Spurs in the Premier League and he already looks like the kind of player who will just settle into the game over here so easily.
