Gabby Agbonlahor has admitted that he is always excited when the North London derby rolls around as the fixture is always a high-scoring one and he backed Arsenal to edge out Tottenham on Sunday.
Over the last decade and a half, the North London derby has always tended to favour the home side and Arsenal do not have a good record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, they did win at the venue last season and this Gunners side is arguably better than any that has visited Spurs since their heyday under Arsene Wenger.
Mikel Arteta’s men boast of the meanest defence in the Premier League and they will be looking to walk away with all three points and keep up the pressure on Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title.

Spurs fans would love to see their side stop Arsenal in their tracks and dent their title hopes but Agbonlahor believes that the visiting side will edge out their opponents on Sunday.
The pundit told talkSPORT about the derby: “Big big game. This is always the game everyone looks forward to. You always see goals, end-to-end, two teams that want to play attacking football. I think Spurs, two weeks without a game, that rest would help them.”

“But Arsenal, they’re fighting for the title. They need to win every game. I think they’re gonna show that in this game. I’m gonna go for a high-scoring 3-2 win for Arsenal.”

There is no doubt that Arsenal come into his game as favourites but they will have to play out of their skins to take all three points as the atmosphere would be extremely intimidating and the Tottenham players will be really up for this game.
