Gallas hoping Spurs avoid Barcelona

William Gallas - Tottenham news

William Gallas has admitted that he is hoping that Tottenham avoid Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Gallas was in fine form in Tottenham’s 0-0 draw against AC Milan and made a goal-line clearance to help Spurs book their place in the next round.

When asked if he would like to face Barca, Gallas was quite clear, telling Sky Sports: “No, nobody wants to play against Barcelona.

“I don’t think anyone would want to play them.

“We have worked very hard and played against a strong team, but we defended very well and in the dressing room the atmosphere is great.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. To show fear against any opposing team weakens the moral of the team & resulting in the players taking the field with an inferiority complex. We just need to study the clips & improve on our weakness. We may not have great names in our squad but have players that are capable of matching their skills with anyone.

  2. barca made the scum look like hackney marsh players, we simply are not in their league and ask yourself why?
they play old style football a bit like push and run. if we meet them at any stage we'll lose. we nearly came unstuck v milan at the lane and milan are crap with no one capable of getting goals

  3. not negativity just the truth, they outplayed us at the lane, they made us play the whole of the pitch while they created positive tight formations all over it, it was a great night though.

  4. best night in our history? are you joking mate? What about Spurs 5 ath Mad 1, ring a bell?
what about recently our uefa cup finals
