The aggressive winger played quite narrow once he came on, his passing and pressing was good. But his overall impact on-the-ball wasn’t enough, I think it’s safe to say he’s seeing a dip in form.

Tottenham’s title bid suffered a major blow despite a goal from Harry Kane as Burnley condemned them to a 2-1 defeat at Turf Moor.

Not even Kane’s goalscoring return after six weeks out with an ankle injury could inspire Spurs to a victory which would have moved them to within two points of Manchester City and Liverpool at the top.

It was a disappointing display by Mauricio Pochettino’s side with even the most optimistic of Spurs fans now accepting that our title hopes are a thing of the past.
