Game won’t change because of Sanchez believes Dier

Eric Dier believes the inclusion of Alexis Sanchez won’t make a difference to Manchester United in Wednesday’s Premier League clash.

Sanchez is set to make his Premier League debut for the Red Devils having played in Friday night’s 4-0 victory over Yeovil Town in the FA Cup , and he’s sure to be in for a lively reception at Wembley as a former Gunner.

The Chilean was only on the winning side in one of his seven Premier League north London derbies during his time at the Emirates – scoring in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Spurs earlier this season.

And big Eric doesn’t believe his presence makes much of a difference to United’s quality.

“The game as a whole won’t change because of one player,” he said, via ESPN , after Spurs drew 1-1 at Newport in the FA Cup. “I don’t think (Sanchez’s debut) is going to make a difference.

Dier added:”We all know the quality he has as a player but he’s going to add to a Man United squad that is already full of quality. It’s going to be a great game, a difficult game, but I don’t think one player changes a football match.”

We go into the match at Wembley eight points behind United, so we will be desperate for a win to improve our top four chances and the possibility of catching United.
