Bale admits Barcelona or Madrid move would be a dream

Gareth Bale - Spurs News

Tottenham winger Gareth Bale has admitted that he would not be able to turn down an offer to join Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Bale has been linked with Europe’s elite after he came to the attention following his dazzling displays against Inter Milan in last year’s Champions League.

It would take a massive bid from any club to persuade Daniel Levy to part company with the Welsh wizard.  You would think that it would have to be a bid in excess of £45million in order for Spurs to part company.

However he does claim that there has been no contact and he is focusing on Tottenham.

“If you are talking about Barcelona or Real Madrid, two of the biggest clubs in the world, then it’s a bit like Harry and England, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime dream,” Bale told The Sun.

“If you said to any young player that you could play for Barcelona or Real would they turn it down? Probably not.”

He added: “If a bid was accepted you would obviously have to seriously consider it.

“But that has not happened so, at the moment, I’m just concentrating on Tottenham.”
