After reading a few sites this morning a few seem to have taken Gareth’s Bale’s comments about being open experience foreign football in the future.
We all know that Bale has ambition to play abroad at some stage of his career, but he is only 23 and still learning his trade. Every week he is linked with a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Bale only signed a new four-year-deal in the summer and Levy won’t part with the Welsh winger for at least £40million.
‘It would be nice to experience other leagues and other cultures,’ Bale said, after Tottenham’s 3-0 win at Fulham.
‘I’m not afraid to go abroad. If the time comes and a team that’s right comes in for me, then I’ll look at it seriously. I’ll see what happens.’
Champions League football is key to match Bale’s ambitions, that’s obvious – hopefully AVB can deliver this for us and Luka Modric keeps his mouth shut with quotes trying to lure Bale to Madrid.
