Gareth Bale’s advisers claim ‘there could be a surprise this summer’

Tottenham Hotspur have started their pre-season with a bang, with Pochettino showing off the strength and depth in his squad against Juventus.

Up against a strong Juve side, a mixture of Tottenham first-teamers and youngsters performed highly and secured an impressive 3-2 win.

However, Pochettino may still want to add some experience and winning mentality to his squad before the new season starts, and a certain Mr Gareth Bale would certainly do that.

Zinedine Zidane revealed this week that Bale was edging closer towards an exit and that he hoped the Welshman would leave the club soon, showing his distaste for the winger (Express).

Now 30-years-old, Gareth Bale left Tottenham for Madrid six years ago back in 2013, and has since gone on to win four Champions League titles with Los Blancos (Wikipedia).

While it is unclear where he may be going this summer and his advisers have apparently refused to comment on links to Spurs, United, and Bayern, they did admit that ‘there could be a surprise this summer.’
