Gareth Bale’s agent speaks out after talks with the player in London this week

Ex-Tottenham Hotspur forward, Gareth Bale, met his agent in London on Tuesday, with Jonathan Barnett speaking out on rumours linking the Welshman to a move away from Spain (Sun).

This comes after Bale reportedly saw a potential £1m per week switch to the Chinese Super League fall through in the last transfer window (Sun).

The 30-year-old has managed to play his way back into Zidane’s plans so far this season at Real Madrid and Bale is apparently still happy with his role at the club.

Bale has played seven matches so far this season scoring two and assisting two in Real Madrid colours (Transfer Markt).

Gareth left North London back in 2013 for the bright lights of the Bernabeu after playing 203 games and scoring 55 goals in a Tottenham shirt (Wikipedia).

He has gone on to win four Champions League titles, play 238 games, and score 104 goals for Real Madrid over the last seven seasons.

However, if his agent’s comments are anything to go by, he won’t be leaving any time soon.

Barnett said (Sun): “Gareth is delighted to play in Madrid.

“China? Don’t believe everything you hear.”
