Gary Lineker takes to Twitter to question Serge Aurier

Tottenham Hotspur have once again lost a Premier League match from a winning position.

Yet another foolish decision from Serge Aurier has once again cost his side dearly and following the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, Spurs have dropped into the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Aurier got the wrong side of Sadio Mane and the Spurs right-back caught the leg of his opponent leaving referee Anthony Taylor pointing to the penalty spot.

The Ivorian has a history of idiotic moments in a Spurs shirt and already this season was sent off after thirty minutes against Southampton and was woeful against Bayern Munich.

Mo Salah stepped up and drilled his penalty low past keeper Paulo Gazzaniga in what proved to be the winning goal at Anfield.

Former Spurs striker Gary Lineker took to Twitter to react to yet another defensive error from Aurier.

The defeat means that Spurs have only managed to win three of their opening ten Premier League matches this season.
