Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the latest twist in the managerial saga at Tottenham Hotspur.
Football.London reported earlier today that Paulo Fonseca was edging closer to being confirmed as the new head coach of the North London club, however, progress was being held up by taxation issues.
Fonseca held a meeting with Tottenham’s new managing director of football, Fabio Paratici in Italy last week to discuss transfer plans ahead of the move.
Fabrizio Romano has since taken to Twitter to claim that any move for Fonseca is now off after taxes issues were encountered despite his contract already agreed and set to be signed.
Spurs are now said to have turned their attention to Gennaro Gattuso, who left Fiorentina this week after just 23 days in charge of the Serie A club.
