Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham continue to hold an interest in Dusan Vlahovic but the Premier League club are yet to make an offer for the Fiorentina star.
Spurs have been heavily linked with a move for Vlahovic all summer, with the Serbian international reportedly the North London club’s number one striker target.
However, the Lilywhites allegedly face competition from Atletico, who also remain keen on snapping up the centre-forward.
Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso claimed last week that he plans to keep Vlahovic at the club beyond the summer and that it would take a bid of around €100m (£85.7m) for him to even consider selling the striker.
Romano has now revealed on social media that the Serie A club have turned down an offer from Atletico Madrid for Vlahovic.
The journalist revealed that Viola remain intent on keeping hold of the striker and also added Tottenham’s interest is genuine.
Fiorentina have definitely turned down Atletico Madrid bid for Dusan Vlahovic since yesterday night. The plan has always been to keep the striker this summer. 🟣🚫 #Atleti #transfers
Man City are not working on this deal. Interest from Tottenham is genuine – but no official bid. https://t.co/Zfxdrly3OG

A bit like the Lautaro Martinez situation, until there is confirmation that Vlahovic has signed a new contract with Fiorentina, a deal remains a possibility.
If City do make an offer that is too good to turn down for Kane, one would expect Spurs to test Fiorentina’s resolve by making a big offer for the Serbian.
