“Get him signed” – Some fans react as rumoured target makes Tottenham admission

Following two transfer windows of complete inactivity, Spurs fans will be hoping that their club will finally splash the cash this summer.

One place where the club may look to strengthen is in the full-back positions with a report in the Evening Standard claiming that Tottenham are open to selling both Serge Aurier and Kieran Trippier if they can land Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 21-year-old has been one of the best full backs in the league this season as he has broken through from the youth set up to a first-team regular.

The defender participated in a Q and A session with his fans on Instagram this week, and one of the questions posed to him was to name the best stadium he has played in, and the Englishman had no hesitation in naming Tottenham’s new stadium.

Wan-Bissaka’s Crystal Palace were Tottenham’s first opponents at the 62,062-capacity stadium at the start of April and were beaten convincingly by the hosts.

It looks like the stadium has made quite an impression on Wan-Bissaka. Some Spurs fans on social media couldn’t contain their excitement at his revelation and urged the club to move for the full back.

Spurs Web’s take:

Wan-Bissaka has proven that he has the energy to get up and down the pitch for the entire 90 minutes, and is just the type of full back who will suit Pochettino’s system perfectly.

While Tottenham can expect stiff competition for the 21-year-old’s signature, the fact that the youngster seems to like the new stadium will certainly not do any harm to the club’s prospects of landing him.
