It is fair to say that Micky Hazard was delighted with Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Burnley yesterday.
The former Spurs midfielder shared his pleasure of the hard-fought 1-0 win courtesy of a late Christian Eriksen goal with his 47,717 followers on Twitter.
It looked as if the game was heading for a draw, which would have been Tottenham’s first stalemate in 20 Premier League matches, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side having up until the Clarets game won 15 and lost five since a 1-1 draw at Brighton in April.
Thankfully, the current Spurs side does not know when to quit and have become accustomed to playing until the final whistle, the Barcelona game is another which proves this point.
Hazard, who played for Spurs in two separate spells, making over 100 appearances for the club felt that Sean Dyche’s tactics killed the game but was pleased to see another win for the home side, especially after the tough trip to Barcelona on Tuesday evening.
Get in there you beauty, great result after the midweek exploits in Barcelona, tough to play so soon after a brilliant European performance so well done boys. Keeps the momentum going and staying close to top two, COYSSSSSSS

Tactics killed the game, might as well have a go as you lost anyway
