Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts following a report in The Guardian regarding the club’s summer transfer activity.
The report claims that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is currently residing in Barcelona, where he previously played for Espanyol and is waiting to see if Daniel Levy can deliver the players he has identified that will bolster his squad.
The summer shopping list includes Ryan Sessegnon, Nicolo Zaniolo, Tanguy Ndombele and Donny van de Beek; interestingly there is no mention of Giovani Lo Celso.
Pochettino reportedly will not return to London until next month when the squad begin their pre-season preparations on July 8th and has stated his intention to Levy that he wants to see new faces arrive ahead of the new campaign.
Spurs found their squad stretched to capacity last season after suffering a number of injuries to key players including Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
