‘Get Ndombele off’ – Some Spurs fans react to the first half against Aston Villa

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been taking to social media to share their reaction to the first half performance against Aston Villa.

The Spurs players came into the fixture licking their wounds following last Sunday’s humiliating defeat in the North London derby at the hands of Arsenal.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored what could be an important opening goal to help keep the home crowd on side when he won the ball and broke up the pitch before interlinking with Heung-min Son and curled a low finish inside the right-hand post.

Kane nearly scored a screamer after 23 minutes when he fired a free-kick from 40 yards and nearly caught Martinez out, which left the goalkeeper having to reach high to palm the ball to safety.

It has been a much better reaction from Tottenham after last week’s performance, the players have certainly looked far more hungrier and currently lead 1-0 at the break.

Here is a selection of thoughts from fellow Spurs fans on what they have witnessed.
