Giovani Lo Celso could be an option for Pochettino against Watford claims reporter

Pochettino is gathering a strong Argentinian contingent at Tottenham, with the addition of Giovani Lo Celso joining Paulo Gazzaniga, Erik Lamela, and Juan Foyth.

While Lamela and Foyth have been away on international duty with Argentina over the past week, Lo Celso was unable to meet up with the squad due to an injury he picked up in the last international break.

Despite being at Spurs for a couple of months now, Lo Celso has made just three appearances, all of which came off the bench in the second half of matches.

With Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen falling short of the mark so far this season, Pochettino could have done with a new and hungry playmaker in his squad.

However, Football London journalist, Rob Guest, has now claimed that Lo Celso is a potential option for Pochettino against Watford in the Premier League next weekend.

He says that the Argentine would have had an extra two weeks to work on his fitness over the break.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I think this could be a huge boost for Tottenham. If Lo Celso can have a similar impact as Ndombele so far this season, Spurs can only get better with him in the side.
