Giovani Lo Celso on his full Spurs debut – ‘I am starting to adapt well’

Tottenham Hotspur new boy, Giovani Lo Celso, has been waiting patiently for his chance to impress in a Lilywhite shirt after his loan move from Real Betis last summer.

After a series of appearances off the bench and an injury picked up on international duty for Argentina, the creative playmaker finally made his full Spurs debut last night.

Just like Tanguy Ndombele on his debut, Lo Celso managed to grab the opening goal, starting off the four-goal thrashing in Belgrade.

Lo Celso controlled the game for every minute he was on the pitch with his precise and positive passing, as well as his creative play and end product.

Spurs fans will be hoping to see him kick on, much like Ndombele has, and earn a regular spot in the Tottenham starting XI under Pochettino.

Lo Celso believes that he is now adapting well within the Spurs squad after his injury (Independent): “I have been waiting a lot after I got injured, but I am enjoying this moment and would like to thank my team-mates and the staff.

“I am starting to adapt well. I had a small problem with the injury with the national team, but I am back and more importantly, I now feel well and have completed my first game for the club.”
