The entire footballing world came together to wish Glenn the best during his fight in hospital, and now the ex-England boss is finally out.

A spokesperson described how Hoddle responded well to treatment after his surgery.

St Bartholomew Doctors have insisted that rest is the best medicine for the 61-year-old at this moment.

Hoddle spent five years at Spurs in the youth academy before playing for the senior team for another 12.

He then returned as managed between 2001 and 2003, and has always been a beloved character around the club.
