Goals needed – The Spurs players still fit who have actually scored this season

Tottenham Hotspur were already without Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko thanks to injury, but Heung-min Son has now also been added to that list.

Spurs announced earlier today that the forward had fractured his elbow in Sunday’s game against Aston Villa, ruling him out for the foreseeable future.

With Kane and Son out, Sissoko not an option, and Eriksen now at Inter Milan, we wanted to take a look at which players still standing who have actually scored this season (BBC).

Kane has netted 17 in all competitions this season, topping the Spurs table. Son is just one behind with 16. Moussa Sissoko has two goals and Eriksen netted three times before leaving for Italy.

What about those available to Mourinho? (Goals in all competitions – transfermarkt)

Dele Alli – 8

Lucas Moura – 7

Erik Lamela – 4

Giovani Lo Celso -2

Tanguy Ndombele – 2

Toby Alderweireld – 1

Serge Aurier – 1

Ryan Sessegnon – 1

Steven Bergwijn – 1

Jan Vertonghen – 1

Kane and Son have scored the exact same number of goals as every other Spurs player combined this season.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This chart certainly doesn’t make for good reading for Spurs fans. Mourinho desperately needs Lucas Moura and Dele Alli to step up, as well as Bergwijn to hit the ground running in North London if they are to find consistent goals for the next two months.
