Are we really after Goldenballs?

Tottenham head a list of six Premier League teams attempting to sign midfielder David Beckham on a two-month loan deal from Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy.

According to press reports Beckham is wanted by Blackburn, West Ham, Sunderland, Everton and Newcastle, as well as interest Italy and Spain.

The Daily Mirror claim that Tottenham made contact with Beckham’s advisers to register an interest about a two-month loan spell.

Beckham, meanwhile, wants to train at a top club, prove he can still play for England and has vast experience to offer Spurs on and off the pitch. He has previously stated that he would only play for Manchester United in the Premier League, but is said to be keen on a switch to the Lane.
