Heurelho Gomes has stressed the importance of a good Christmas campaign for Tottenham.
Spurs travel to Aston Villa on Boxing Day and the Brazilian admits that it is not going to be an easy game. We then welcome Newcastle to White Hart Lane two days later.
“It’s an important time for us to get results and win games and hopefully we can do that for the rest of the season,” said Gomes.
“We’ve got a difficult game at Aston Villa. They are always dangerous in their own stadium but we believe we can win there.”
