‘Good bit of rotation’ – Some fans react to the Spurs team v Southampton

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Antonio Conte’s team selection for this afternoon’s match against Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur have failed to score in either of their last two away Premier League games, managing just 15 shots combined in those games. They haven’t gone three without a goal on the road since March 2014 under Tim Sherwood.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have lost just once at home in the league this season, and are unbeaten in their last five at St Mary’s. It is their longest undefeated run at home in the top flight since going nine games between March and October 2016.

It appears that Conte has reverted to the 3-4-1-2 formation which worked well against Liverpool with Dele Alli and Harry Winks coming in for Oliver Skipp and Lucas Moura, while Ben Davies replaces Japhet Tanganga as the left-sided central defender.

This is how some of the North London faithful have reacted to the Italian’s choice of team selection which takes to the field at the St Mary’s Stadium.
