Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to criticise the level of officiating in the Premier League in a heated rant.
The former Spurs defender insisted the Premier League need to review their referees as the level of officiating has been “embarrassing” this season.
Spurs have fell victim to some decisions since the restart of the Premier League which after being reviewed by the hierarchy of the FA were revealed as incorrect calls from the officials in charge of VAR.
I have to say I think that the refs in the premier league are the worse in any football they make so many mistakes maybe the premier league should employ foreign refs as this is embarrassing palace should have had a penalty

Harry Kane’s goal which was disallowed for a ‘handball’ in the build-up from Lucas Moura against Sheffield United, however, further review after the game revealed the goal should have stood and the handball law was changed accordingly (BBC).
Kane was also pushed to the ground from a corner against Bournemouth but no penalty was given by the official on the field and in charge of VAR on the day. Again, further review after the game revealed a penalty should have been awarded (BBC).
Spurs Web Opinion
The officiating has been atrocious this season. Perhaps, magnified by the introduction of VAR, however, we have to blame the officials in charge not the technology because at the end of the day it is them who are making the final decision.
