Graham Roberts calls for Spurs to dip into the transfer market after Watford draw

Graham Roberts has called upon Tottenham Hotspur to sign a striker during the current transfer window.

Roberts took to social media to share his thoughts after watching his former side only manage to pick up a point against Watford.

The draw at Vicarage Road will do little to improve the club’s hopes of a top four finish this season with Chelsea able to further extend their current eight-point advantage.

Tottenham are now winless in their last six Premier League games in which Harry Kane has played no part (D3 L3), with the Lilywhites failing to score on four occasions in that run.

The lack of a target man is certainly hurting Tottenham’s ability to play a more direct approach with Lucas Moura having to play an unfamiliar role of down the middle of the pitch.

Roberts also praised the performances of the defensive duo of Serge Aurier and Japhet Tanganga.
