Graham Roberts has his say on what Mauricio Pochettino must stop doing

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on last night’s Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester United.

After Mauricio Pochettino made ten changes to the side for the cup tie against the League Two side, Roberts believes that the manager should be looking to pick a settled side.

The 60-year-old feels that too many changes are being made to the side which is having an impact on the continuity of the team whilst also criticising the performance of the players who took to the field last night.

Colchester are the lowest-ranked side still left into the competition but added Tottenham to their list of cup scalps after beating Crystal Palace, also on penalties in the last round.

Tottenham once again looked short of ideas in attack, trying to play their way through the opposition rather than adopting the glimpse of free flowing attacking football which we saw in the 4-0 win against Palace recently.

Instead, Spurs are today the laughing stock of football; but all credit must go to Colchester.
