Graham Roberts has claimed that Christian Eriksen would not get into the current Tottenham side amid reports that he could leave Inter Milan in January, with a return to North London being mooted as a possibility for the midfielder.
Eriksen was a mainstay in the Tottenham team for the majority of his six and a half years at the club and was a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s revolution in North London.
However, his form took a hit in his final year at Tottenham and he has subsequently failed to rediscover his best form since his move to Inter Milan.
In fact, reports indicate that his time at the San Siro could come to an end in January, with Antonio Conte’s side ready to move the Denmark international on (FC Inter News).
Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano previously revealed on the Here We Go podcast that Tottenham tried to sign the 28-year-old on loan during the summer transfer window but saw their offer being turned down by Inter.
Roberts admitted on social media that he does not see Eriksen improving the current Tottenham side.
