Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose.
The left-back has been linked with a move to Italian outfit Genoa with talks said to have been held between both clubs, according to Sky Sports.
Rose, who is currently in the last year of his contract in North London has not featured in any of Tottenham’s four pre-season friendlies and has not been spotted training with the rest of the first team.
The 30-year-old has spent 13 years at Tottenham, playing over 200 times for the club spend the second half of the last campaign on loan at Newcastle where the England international made 11 top-flight appearances for Steve Bruce’s side (transfermarkt).
Rose was seen having a bust-up with Jose Mourinho in the Spurs head coach’s office during episode five of the All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur docuseries where he bemoaned his lack of playing time before telling the Portuguese that he would confront chairman Daniel Levy over it (Independent).
I want to wish Danny Rose lots of luck if he leaves the club this window as it it looks like he will.Given an incredible service to this club and every time want on that pitch left nothing behind. Many players now can be robotic he always wears his heart on his sleeve.COYS
