Graham Roberts praises four Spurs players after win against Wolves

Graham Roberts has challenged Tottenham Hotspur to win their two remaining Premier League matches after they secured a 2-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday afternoon.

The victory means that Tottenham’s Europa League destiny is now in their own hands over they overtook West Ham on goal difference along with Everton’s 1-0 defeat at home to Sheffield United.

Roberts singled four players out for praise on Twitter following the final whistle with the former defender congratulating Harry Kane for his goal in the first half as he looks to secure the golden boot.

Tottenham’s second goal came from an unlikely source in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who had earlier provided the assist for Kane’s opener.

Dele Alli also continued his taste of regular first-team football with the 61-year-old describing the midfielder as ‘very good’, while also offering the same for Japhet Tanganga who came into the starting eleven in the place of the injured Serge Aurier.

Tottenham face Aston Villa in North London followed by a trip to FA Cup winners Leicester City on Sunday to conclude their top flight campaign.
