The Independent claimed that Pochettino could be open to an approach from his former employer after there is said to be a feeling that he has found the job at Paris Saint-Germain to be more problematic than anticipated.

While Pochettino has had his first taste of silverware in the French capital, he also saw his side knocked out of the Champions League and also finish second in Ligue 1 to Lille.

Roberts took to Twitter to react to a post by SpursWeb in which the UEFA Cup winner posted three ‘praying’ Emoji’s to give his view on a potential Pochettino return.

The 61-year-old revealed last month that he was told that Pochettino was tasked with winning the Champions League this season and the fact that they looked set to miss out on winning the league would cause further unhappiness (Football Fancast).
