Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts took to Twitter to send a welcome message to two of the club’s newest arrivals earlier today.
On transfer deadline day, Spurs left their business to late in the day with the announcements of Giovani Lo Celso followed by Ryan Sessegnon.
Lo Celso joins Spurs on loan from La Liga outfit Real Betis for the upcoming season with the club having the option to buy while Sessegnon moves to Fulham on a permanent deal.
The pair doubled Tottenham’s summer transfer activity following the earlier arrivals of Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele.
Attention will now turn to Saturday evening’s Premier League opener when newcomers Aston Villa are the visitors to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Roberts described Tottenham as the ‘greatest club in the world’ in his message to Lo Celso and followed it up with his Tweet to Sessegnon where he labelled Tottenham as ‘incredible’.
