Graham Roberts takes to Twitter after Spurs beat Burnley

Former defender Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to share his reaction after Tottenham Hotspur beat Burnley.

Jose Mourinho’s side bounced back in the best possible way following the disappointing performance against Manchester United on Wednesday evening where Spurs looked second best and started the match slowly.

Against the Clarets, Spurs found themselves ahead after just four minutes when Harry Kane’s powerful shot from outside of the penalty area gave his England team-mate Nick Pope no chance of saving.

Spurs were relentless in their hunger to drive forward and continue to put the visitors under pressure with Sean Dyche’s men defensively all at sea.

Roberts, who won the UEFA Cup during his time as a player at Spurs singled out Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko and Heung-min Son for their impressive displays whilst also claiming that Eric Dier looked back to his best.

Dier was recalled to the starting eleven after being left out of the squad which lost at Old Trafford.
