Graham Roberts takes to Twitter to tell Christian Eriksen what he should do

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts has urged Christian Eriksen to commit his future to the club.

The Dane revealed just days after the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool that he wanted to leave the club in order to seek a new challenge whilst also inviting interest from Real Madrid (Ekstra Bladet).

Eriksen is out of contract at the end of the season and could walk away as a free agent unless a contract extension is agreed.

The Daily Mail claim that Spurs have already offered the playmaker a deal worth over £200,000 a week which he has not signed.

Roberts believes that Eriksen would be best suited to remain in N17 and should put pen to paper on the new extension.

Eriksen is said to have set his heart on a move to Spain, but an offer from a La Liga giant has yet to materialise.

Mauricio Pochettino insisted that if Eriksen did not complete a transfer yesterday, that he would remain at the club beyond the September 2nd European transfer window.
