Graham Roberts throws his backing behind a change to the new stadium plans

Tottenham Hotspur fans will be able to relive their past this season, as a number of club legends return for one match only.

The brand new 62,000 seat stadium is finally ready to open on April 3 against Crystal Palace, after around six months of waiting.

However, before the club can hold their opening game, they must first complete two test events at the facility to prove it is up to the job.

First up is an under 18s match this weekend, before the legends match on the 31st.

The likes of Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Rafa Van Der Vaart, Jermaine Jenas and more will take to the pitch once again in Spurs colours.

However, one man who was not invited was Spurs icon Paul Gascoigne, who has still thrown his name in the ring for an appearance.

What’s more, Graham Roberts has now thrown his support behind a Gazza return to Tottenham on Twitter.
