‘Great memories together’ – Harry Kane sends touching message to Dele Alli

Harry Kane has taken to social media to thank Dele Alli for everything the midfielder gave to Tottenham Hotspur over his seven years at the club.

Alli sealed a deadline day move to Everton, where he will link up with new Toffees manager Frank Lampard. The 25-year-old will be hoping to get his career back on track after the struggles he had at Tottenham over the last couple of years.

The midfielder posted an emotional goodbye message to Spurs fans and his former Tottenham teammates on Instagram after sealing a move away from the North London club.

Out of all of his former teammates, Kane was arguably the player that Alli had the best on-pitch relationship with. The pair linked up for numerous goals for both club and country from 2015 to 2019 until Alli’s form fell away.

The England captain took to social media to wish Alli the best of luck at Goodison Park and reminisced on the memories that they created together.

Alli’s departure certainly feels like an end of an era, with Lloris, Dier, Kane and Davies now being the only ones left from the peak of the Pochettino era in 2016. The 25-year-old was seemingly very popular in the dressing room and will certainly be missed.
