Tottenham are confident they can complete a deal to sign Richarlison from Everton this summer, according to Football.London’s Alasdair Gold.
The report explains that talks between both clubs are progressing well with a ‘growing confidence’ the Brazilian international will join Spurs ahead of pre-season training.
The Telegraph have reinforced the same information, adding that Richarlison’s preference to move to Tottenham has been a key factor as talks continue.
Spurs have reportedly made Richarlison a main target for Antonio Conte’s squad this summer with his versatility to play across the front line and ability to hit the ground running in the Premier League likely to be key traits.
Tottenham are thought to be on track to complete a deal worth up to £60 million (UOL).
Richarlison emerged as a vital player for Everton last season as Frank Lampard’s side narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League.
He notched 10 goals and five assists in 30 appearances (Transfermarkt) to help preserve the Toffees’ status in the top-flight.

Things look to be moving in a good direction regarding Richarlison and hopefully it stays that way with Spurs identifying him as a main transfer target.
It will be good to get him into the squad ahead of pre-season as it will allow him time to bed in, but it may not be that straightforward given it is quite an expensive deal.
