Eidur Gudjohnsen praised Harry Redknapp’s substitution decisions as Tottenham beat Fulham 3-1.

It was a different story at half time when Spurs went into the break a goal down, but the Spurs boss brought in David Bentley, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Tom Huddlestone to turn around their fortunes and put in an impressive second half display.

Bentley, Pavlyuchenko and Gudjohnsen were all on target to help Spurs book their FA Cup semi-final date with Portsmouth.

“I was well happy with his last substitution (Pavlyuchenko), it’s a risky one putting another striker on but it worked,” Gudjohnsen told ITV.

“I thought it was a fantastic decision and with David getting a goal early in the second half it gave us a great boost.

“I thought the whole team pressed forward really well after that and we won the game.”
