Guglielmo Vicario is happy with Tottenham’s win against Slavia Prague, but identified one area where the team could improve.
Spurs made it two back-to-back wins at home after putting three goals past Slavia Prague without a response.
The result keeps Tottenham right in the thick of the race for a top-eight finish in the Champions League, with the Lilywhites having won all their home games in the competition without conceding a single goal.
There were several huge positives for Spurs to take from the win on Tuesday, but one experienced Tottenham star felt he and his teammates could have done better in one aspect.

Guglielmo Vicario says Tottenham could have won more comfortably against Slavia Prague
Vicario was delighted to get another win on the board and remain in the hunt for a top-eight finish, which brings with it direct passage to the round of 16 stage.
However, the 29-year-old felt that Spurs lost a bit of composure towards the end of the game and suggested that they could have scored more goals and bettered their goal difference.
Vicario told TNT Sports: “We proved what we can do two days before this game. We did well for 60 minutes, but we need a bit more composure across 90 minutes.
“I had this feeling that if we were a bit calmer, this result could’ve been better, and goal difference is important in this league phase. But we’re still aiming for the top eight.
“They had some shots outside the box, they are aggressive, man-to-man all over the pitch. If you miss a pass or don’t win a second ball, we are a bit open. Their game is to open up teams.
“Three good points and we’ll see. Two more games to play in the league phase, next round will be tough against Dortmund.”
Vicario wants Spurs to keep their momentum
It appeared to be all doom and gloom at the North London club until two weeks ago, with the relationship between the Tottenham fans and players worsening.
However, a hard-fought draw at Newcastle and two back-to-back wins have changed the mood at N17, and Vicario wants the team to continue riding this wave of confidence.
When asked if there has been a shift in momentum at Tottenham, Vicario told TNT Sports: “Probably, I hope so. We are judged every three days, and football can change every three days in a good or bad way.
“We have to keep momentum, you need to have balance when things are going well or bad. If the result is good everyone is happy but we need to stay calm and focused and try to do our best.”
