Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has taken to Twitter to share his understanding of Mauricio Pochettino’s situation.
Sky Sports reported earlier this week that the Argentine is in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a potential return to North London.
Balague has claimed that Pochettino’s current employer, Paris Saint-Germain have been left surprised by the media speculation and have no intention of allowing him to leave this summer.
Pochettino has reportedly began preparing for next season with PSG’s officials and has not been blamed internally for the failure to win Ligue 1, after missing out to Lille by a single point.
The French giants have seen a marked improvement in their squad since Pochettino arrived and fully expect him to be on the sideline come next season.

While Balague did admit that Pochettino’s personal relationship with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has improved, they did make contact after their requirements for their next head coach perfectly matches the 49-year-old ability.
