Harry Kane and Dele Alli react to Premier League June 17 restart announcement

The Premier League announced on Thursday that all twenty clubs had agreed to restart the season on June 17.

The report revealed that the two games in hand, Arsenal’s clash against Manchester City and Aston Villa’s match against Sheffield United, will be played first.

Spurs are expected to be back in action on the weekend of June 20 with a home game against Manchester United.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli both took to social media to express their delight at the decision.

Kane hasn’t played a game since injuring his hamstring against Southampton on New Years Day, but has been back in training during lockdown.

The Spurs squad are now working together after being given the green light to resume contact training, as they gear up towards getting match fit for the kick-off in three weeks.

Here’s how Kane and Dele reacted to the news that broke on Thursday:

It is clear that the players are fit and raring to go for the restart. Given how poorly were playing before the league was suspended, the break could prove to be a blessing in disguise for our hopes of Champions League qualification.
