Today’s most bizarre transfer rumour has to go to the Sun on Sunday who claim that Harry Kane has emerged as a shock target for German giants Bayern Munich.
According to the report, the German giants have already been to watch the Spurs striker on three occasions and are considering a move for Kane at the end of the campaign but may have to do battle with Manchester United.
We all want to see Kane stay at White Hart Lane after coming through the ranks. The club need to be doing everything in the power to ensure that the likes of Kane, Eriksen and Lloris do not become today’s Modric, Bale and Van der Vaart but it all boils down to Champions League football – top players will want to be playing in the top competitions and not the Europa League.
Hopefully it’s just paper talk.
