Harry Kane becomes the third-fastest player in history to reach this CL milestone

Tottenham Hotspur undoubtedly have one of the very best centre forwards in world football right now in Harry Kane, and he is just entering his prime years at 27.

While Kane is well known for being one of the top goal scorers in the Premier League across the last five seasons, his Champions League record has slipped under the radar.

Harry has now scored 15 goals in just 20 Champions League appearances, bearing in mind that this is the biggest and toughest European competition out there.

It should also be remembered that Tottenham only really embarked on their consistent Champions League journey with Pochettino five years ago, meaning that Kane hasn’t been banging them in for one of Europe’s heavyweights.

These 15 goals in 20 games have made Kane the third-fastest player in the history of the competition to reach the 15 milestone.

Strangely enough, one of the players to beat him there was Roberto Soldado, as ex-Tottenham forward who took just 19 matches, the same as Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Soldado has only scored once in the competition since then.
